hmmm, me thinks that my little chevrolet S-10 is pretty good and all...
Being a 4 cylinder 5-speed I'm averaging approximately 25 miles pe rgallon...
And that's with 240 pounds of weight in the tail end to keep it on the road...

the golf is a great small car. Fast, looks good, good MPG and can be modded without too much hassle.
the Honda civic close second though

Yes made in Korea
Has the best warranty of any vehicle that I know in North America.
I understand the warranty is unlimited 5 years Bumper to Bumper and the vehicle can even be serviced by Canadian Tire if there is no dealership close.
What most companies offer as options KIA is standard, for example...automatic transmission, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Full road side assistance (No need for CAA) and they start around $16,000.00.
I see more and more of these on the road and I am going to start to look at them as well.
