Is there any way to change the refresh rate of gauges in the VC, or is it fixed by some internal FS variable?

I've looked through the FS9.cfg file, and can't find anything that seems to look like it might change anything.

Fixed as far as I know, sorry. The aircraft.cfg file, however, allow you to edit how fast the VSI responds. Maybe it will affect something else?

Cheers Saratoga,

I already knew about the VSI thing (you can make the autopilot does some funky moves if you edit that too much!), and I pretty much assumed it would be a fixed value for the gauges. I thought I'd have a pop anyway.

Seems to me the update speed on the gauges is down to the gauge itself. Does anyone know of any tutorials where I can learn the "black-art" of gauge programming?
