One more B1B shot and a question? (Read 298 times)

Hi there,
Here is one more shot I liked. Hope you enjoy. I also have a question. I notice the contact points seem to be off a little in FS9 for the B1B. I used slew to elevate the foreground B1 (just to have a nice shot), however, the AI B1 in the background is sitting normally with the wheels sunk into the ground. If anyone could let me know how to adjust this, it would be much appreciated.

Nice shot!

In the aircraft.cfg file there is a section titled [contact_points] and under that are many different entries like point.0 and point.12. To edit them correctly, you need to understand what the individual numbers represent. For a complete list of what each one means, check the default Learjet's aircraft.cfg file. You need to edit the vertical position of each wheel down a little.

Eric, how is the FR hit with using this as an AI?

I remember asking Jamal about a LOD B-1 but right now he's far to busy for obvious reason.

I'd love to make some B-1 flight plans and loaded bases but fear it would just be a slide show just like using Rey's C-5.

If you have anymore than 3 planes in view it kills most flights Sad

If there is an airshow with in 2 states of me I'm there&&&&&&

Planespotter,
Surprisingly, I am finding the frame rate hit to be very minimal. The aircraft textures take a second or two to show on my system but otherwise its not too bad. Its funny that you ask, because they are your plans that I have subsituted the B1B's into. I think the above shot was taken at Travis AFB, using one of your great downloads.
