Hello,
Many years ago I was dabbling in CFS 1 and came across the Voisin 5 download. I don't really game anymore, but I am building a flying replica of the Voisin. (Test flights should begin this fall.)
I received MSFS 2004 for Christmas and would like to have the Voisin fly in the new program for demonstration purposes. I know little about designing and converting, but did try to import the CFS 1 Voisin into 2004. I actually got it to show up, but it doesn't fly at all and it sits above the runway, to name a couple of the many problems.
Ideally I would like to have it reconfigured to my scale replica measurements, weights, estimated flight dynamics, and repainted to my color scheme.
I redownloaded the Voisin zip from Flitesim.com to see if I could find the author of the original, and do not find it anywhere in the zip.
I would appreciate any help with this plane. Even if I could just get it to work in 2004, I could maybe tweak it and repaint it to my requirements (if you can tell me which files to mess with.)

Thanks in advance,
Corey

Well, I got it to fly by reducing the empty weight by 1000lbs in the air file. I also aliased the panel and sound to the Jenny in 2004. It does not fly well, but it does fly. I guess I will just have to keep playing with the air file till it does what I want.
I notice that the aircraft.cfg file fills itself in from what is put in the .air file in MS '04. Can I change just the .cfg file and not the .air file?

I did find the original designer's contact info buried in the .air file.

Thanks,
Corey
