Its been snowing here in lovley england and I think the cant clear the runway in Birmingham. there are 7 large aircraf stacking just west of my house! at about 5 to 8 thousand ft all following each other round, landing lights and all! I'm just amazed because i never thought I had a stacking site above my house. Sorry for sounding a bit sad.

Well, we were told last week that it was coming so they had plenty of time to prepare for it. From the reports on the radio it seems that most of the country is at a standstill. The truth is that we're not used to snow in this country so the authorities cannot deal with even a comparatively small amount. Other countries with regular heavy snowfall throughout the winter seem to have few problems & probably laugh their heads off at our pathetic efforts. Roll Eyes

Meanwhile, in the south where I live, we had one clap of thunder about 1 hour ago followed by a light dusting of snow. That's all I've seen all day so far & it's stopped snowing now. Wink

It's so dry over here (New Zealand) that everytime I taxi my Hercules out I set fire to the grass.

Are there any harrier's that you can get to hover???  I haven't found any and, if there are, it isn't easy to get them to do so.

The weather is perfect here in Florida. It is currently 10.9 degrees and I'm loving every minute of it. I've been experiencing the best flying weather of my life (not in the sim but in real life).
