i like this plane great fun and some really good effects...
here's some shots.. i added the b-52 in for extra effect its real..
any dl's for a b-52 for 2004  ???

drop from about 40,000ft
...
burning fuel rapidly climbing to about 70,000ft
...
fuel spent time to glide it down...

nice landing.

Love it!

There's a really nice B52 pack here at simv.  just do a search.  Its about 14 meg Lips Sealed and comes with different paints and loadouts.  Flies nice as far as I can remember.  Works well in ACOF...

i never heart of the X-24. where was it used for...and when? nice edit too...with the Buff it really looks realistic!

hi there bones..
it was first flown in the late 60s and mainly for research purposes.. and to find out more about flight characteristics within the atmosphere from high altitude supersonic speeds to landing.
a lot of the research they gleaned from this craft had a major impact on modern day things like the shuttle ect..
if you haven't dl it you should it's great fun.. Smiley

i really love all that history written at Edwards AFB. all the X planes, damn good pilots, amazing region, lots of new technologies in that time...just awesome. i wish i was there during that time.  Wink
