Since I got back from holiday my graphics have been playing up some what. Not all the time, but can be at the most inappropriate times.
These are the kinda results I get in Flight Sim
...

and other graphic intensive programs are effected too, like EVE
...

My system specs are in my signature, I've got the majority of recent Windows updates, Nvidia 52.16 drivers (Rolled back from 53.03, same effect) and Directx 9.0b
Thanks

Looks like you may have V-Sync disabled under D3D, I'd check with Riva Tuner ( selecting defaults should sort it)

I had a similar issue with my FX5600, which was caused by the above, however, use a program like detonator destroyer to remove absolutely all traces of your old drivers, then install the Asus optimised drivers from the CD that should have come with your card, I get similar corruption with Battlefield 1942 unless I use the optimised (52.16) Asus drivers, "regular" 52.16's cause my machine to crash!  Angry  Roll Eyes

Hope this helps,

Paul.

P.S.

You may have a stray piece of pasta stuck in your cards fan.....  Tongue  Wink Grin

Drat! I knew that might of been it  Grin
Seriously though, Somthing even worse happened, I was trying to uninstall the windows update files (a mate thought it might be a driver conflict) and, well I was getting DOS-style blue screens of death! (bugger)

Just recovered from a reformat, lost about 10 gigs of seriously important stuff. Angry

Ouch! - I assume next time you'll have your drive partitioned & important data stored on  the D: partition..... (works for me!)

The question is, did the re-format & re-install fix it?
