Crappy Missions (Read 275 times)

Been flying this for a coupla months and a Lt Gen at mid Mar 45 now with 125 + planes shot down and over 200 ground targets destroyed including 4 ships.  Notices that they are sending me out on rainy no moon nites to targets like ships and ya can hardly see anything. Gotta watch the artificial horizon just to get to the target as cannot see the horizon.  Then the fighters jump ya and its near impossible to see them.  Why send ya out on nites like that?  Sick

So you reckon they stopped fighting over night and in bad weather?

I thought the Limey's did most of the night fighting and the USA did the day time.  Sick

True. But there would have been late night incursions into the shipping lanes etc. Patrols...Submarine excercises. Although the RAF did do alot more nightflying than the USAAF...
