is multiswap the only way to fly missions online? if it is were can I download it? I have run a couple searches and can only find one link and its  broken. i really like flying online but head to head dogfights are starting to get a bit boring. Thanks in advance.

Here are two links for Multiswap. The older version you had to have a seperate program called DPswap. Now DPswap is wrapped up into the newer Multiswap program.

1] http://www.multicfs.com Go to Utilties and get it.

2] http://www.brennt.com/hoppers/util.html ; My site. Same program.

Then all you need is to download some of the great missions out there.

Good luck.

Yup, I'd recommend using the MPSU program that Fireman recommends.

I didn't know he had it on his site, I got it from the 'Hell's Angels' site at: http://www.simplyamazin.com

(where you will also find a range of useful multiplayer missions - shipyards v3.0 and carrier haven 3 seem pretty standard for Zone games).

Make sure you fully un-install all previous versions of Multiswap beforehand - MPSU will work for both CFS1 and CFS2 and is much more elegant and simple to use.

One thing you might consider, if you (and the people you fly with have good old Windows 98), is BRunHost - available from http://www.multicfs.com. This allows you to set up configuration files for team based cooperative games with ground starting points for each team (no need for CFO) and allows for the inclusion of shared targets.

As far as I know (and despite claims to the contrary) BRunHost will not work under Windows 2K or XP.

It is also unlikely ever to do so as I believe CFS3 now allows for similar functionality - bomb runs, strafing runs, etc. If I ever get the damn thing to run on machine, I'll let you know... Wink

Cheers,
