I personally love my Saitek X-45 HOTAS....very popular stick here at SimV, and it only runs about $70 USD.

My Microsoft Sidewinder is reliable, easy to use, and cheap. I got it on sale for about 25 bucks but its prob 50 reg. price

I have the Saitek Cyborg which costed me about €30. It is very reliable and more hardy than the Sidewinder. It is also easily adjustable for left handed people and for all sizes of hands.

I have a sidewinder as well, and it's reliable if not very exciting. A bit sloppy around the middle (if you know what I mean). Smiley
I've just read an article in the excellent "PC Pilot" mag, that says that Microsoft are to discontinue the Sidewinder range of joysticks, so good deals will almost certainly be available!!. I'm not sure about continued support though?

Wish you luck.
Zaphod.

I have had several joysticks and the Saitek X45 is by far the best for realism and ease of use

Hey, just wondered. Does that have force feedback. Because I would have really recommended one with that as I just brought a basic one with that and think it's the bomb! lol

Selbio,

I'm using a Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold stick, haven't had any problems with it. It's pretty good Grin

Ultimately though, you need to go with something that feels right for you Smiley

Stratobat
