I am building an actual WW2 hands on throttle assembly, plus as many switches as the CFS2 sim will take. Is there a way to add flight sim code to the CFS2 CFG to add Mags (2), Gen/ Alt, Battery, and Fuel pump? (So they can be activated by switches)

MS left this stuff out, But I bet it can be added though...??? ???

..And Fuel selection dial?

Hi Thunderboy!

You might want to check this out: http://www.mikkila.org/ and and look for FSBUS pages.

dont know if its exactly what you were looking for but this fellow has made a home cockpit for himself using this FSBUS (flight simulator bus). FSBUS is  a home made EPIC system.

Do you have a particular plane in mind or is the cockpit going to be universal?

It is for any stock or 1% planes. Id like to make, for example, the fuel selector switch, which you can click on with a mouse, but to my knowledge, there is no "Keyboard" switch. It just needs to be compatible with the KEYBOARD!

Thanks!

I was also about to hotwire a keyboard to function with switches. But like you said were missing magneto, fuel selector and starter switch at least. I found shift+M should do something for magneto but I did not see anything happening when used.  Angry

Yes, but you can click on them, so we may be able to add them to a real panel. I am making my Throttle quadrant a ww2 stlyle one, with a front half panel, for the cowl flaps lever, and Prop thrust knob. It would be nice to have mags, etc on the panel. Im just not sure if the CFS2 cfg allows us to add stuff from FS2000.  ???
