Usually RL accidents make the Simviation forums when they appear in national news media.  The sad truth is that many accidents/incidents do not get reported.

One of my monthly 'must-reads' is Key Publishing's "Air Forces Monthly".  Apart from being relatively current on the state of worldwide air forces issues, it also has a section of incidents/accidents.

I read in the latest issue I bought of a freak incident in South Africa - an Impala lost power on take off - the two occupants ejected normally - one was landing on a road, just as a truck came in and impacted the fellow, and the other died of injuries when he impacted a rocky hillside.

sobering.
