hey there guys... i want to repaint the FS2004 dak. i'd like to change it to the old SAAF scheme.... would it be possible to take the textures from another dak and place them into the FS2004 (i'm stoopid)???? thanks again guys!

No.
The reason is that each texture - whether it be a third party or a default model - is made specifically for that model. with specific texture names and each section of the texture to cover a specific part(s) of the model.

I have done it but after the disection and manipulation of the texture, it is hardly worth it. Repaint the texture it is more rewarding and a lot less frustrating.
Oh and PS don't feel stupid this is just for fun and besides its bad for the self esteem

yep... those old warbirds were the last REAL aircraft. i dont like this new advanced jet/stealth technology. i say we all go back to flying pistons and use machine guns and cannons. no heat seekers.. no phoenixs.. no "look down, shoot down"....
