That's a bus, of some sort... The exact words that came into my mind seeing my transportation for today.

I returned to Orlando airport, to get to Miami int.

I went to the United Airlines desk since their flight left first.

At the gate i didn't find a lot of passengers, what made me wondering about the airplane.

It turned out to be a beechcraft 1800D. Strange and delicate looking bird it is. But it got me to Miami, bring on my Miami Vice shirts ....

After the first moments of awe, i got into the plane and we took of, Engines buzzing like overgrown bees
...

One defenitly needs to get used to this model.
...

The small gear tucked safely away.
...

Cruising the blue - 19.000 ft
...

aproach of Miami Int, Runway 12 - ILS
...

Slowing down and following the glidepath
...

On the runway, smooth as a babies butt ...
...

Welcome to Miami, nice airport
...

So, after the flight i had to admitt the plane had grown on me. I still find it bizarre, but in an appealing way.

Well the Caribean are calling....

I like it!  Good shots.  I'm not a big prop person, I much prefer jets, but I don't mind that one.  I recently got a little EMB-120 in UEX similar to that plane.

Frontierguy: try Avim - search for beechcraft 1800 United

It's a Mike stone model repaint; You'll have to search for the basemodel to, also on Avsim. ( FS2002)

Basic model though, but nice repaint
