FS2004 Military p. 10 Northrop T-38 Talon is easy to fly and does not require a lot of elevator trim attention.  It will work fine in FS2002.

Right now I'd recommend the Viper and this great little Bell UH-1 Huey that I found here at SimV.

I have been flying a Central Airlines Convair CV240 lately. It has fantastic flight dynamics (I think), great sounds, excellent start sequence once you get the hang of it and and a cool flight log showing various helpful stuff like V1, V2 depending on fuel weight fuel burn, TTE and other stuff.

It's here at simviation , FS2002 Props. Sorry can't recall which page but mid 40's.  About 12 Megs.

                      Happy flying

To make FS2002 work better: FSUIPC, TrafficTools + traffic, ActiveCamera, FSNav.

Downloads: scenery for your area, POSKY 757, Project ERJ's ERJ, the Meljet 777, David Maltby's VC-10. Lots of great things out there...

Depends on the kind of flying you want to do. I'm a stunt and warbird man, but yeah I have a huey too Grin
Good stunt planes include the Su-29 (in props download), and the Spitfire V (vintage download). Lots of good things, just have a browse Wink

Definitely some good planes out there, but I would have to say the best thing to download is Project AI.  You'll never go back to airports that are ghost towns again.  After that, AFCAD so you can edit your own airports, then TTools so you can make your own AI flight plans.  Alll of these programs seem more complicated to use than they are.  Once you get the hang of them, they are exceedingly simple and in the case of Project AI and AFCAD, completely necessary...
