I'm pretty sure it was Ivan who I saw do this once and set a challenge to everyone to try it out!

I tryed my best but failed miserably.

Realism settings at full, I set out and get to just over 3000ft. Off wego!
...

I start to roll, flaps for extra lift, rudders at full.
FLAP DAMAGE - STALL
and it all
ends in disaster! I tryed again at 5000 ft but it ended in the same way!
...

Ah well,  Sad theres always tomorrow!

Alex Henshaw could do it with 2 engines feathered on one side. That was in a real Lanc though. Tongue Roll Eyes Wink

This is a real lanc! Just i'ts on a computer! It's the one they used in the "Grand slam" mission. I'll have another go with more height once I get some practice in. I'm leaving my realism settings at full so I can get used to them, and I'll use the normal textures with it.

Well maybe the flight dynamics aren't quite so accurate as they make out. Shocked Roll Eyes

I don't think Mr Henshaw would have attempted it with that blinkin' great Grand Slam bomb hanging underneath either. Roll Eyes Tongue Cheesy

Hey, I keep trying to barrel roll it but the engines seem to cut to idle whenever you get past 90 degs around!! But still, heres a loop i pulled off, sorry for the poor quality, GCS was only saving in 12 bit colour lol.

Heres the take off, I decided to do it in the atandard "tallboy" model.

Here you can just make out the silouette of the plane going up over then down and flat again.

You can tell he's a fighter jock. Look how fast he got his wheels up on take off! Grin

Sam, the engines cut because gravity feeds the fuel into the cylinders. Turn the thing upside down and gravity works against you. There was a similar problem in the early Spitfires and Hurricanes.

Anyway, now do that with two engines off. Grin

lol, "fighter jock" I agree, I have no time to wait around to let air reistance slow me up lol. I think that if i take off in something fast like my DSB typhoon then get up to 100km (Edge of space) then change to a lanc i should have some chance eh, lol.

I never new about that problem with the fuel feed, the only engine i ever have a play with is the one on my 2 stroke R/C car lol. I dont really have a problem with it turning upside down unless i crash it.

Cheers. Sam 8)

Use paint from windows.

1. Go to the pic you want and open it in paint. On the menu bar in "edit" click "select all"
2. Then go to "Image" still on the menu bar and go to "stretch/skew" and in the stretch section type in  50% for both horizontal and Vertical. Click off the image.
3. Then go to your second pic and do the same. Copy it and paste it into your first pic. Then before clicking off, move it beside the first pic, I have not found a way to do this automatically, You have to drop it pretty accurate. The black lines splitting all 4 up are already there in the pic.

Good luck! Sam 8)
