Like many others here I've been having a clear out. I found these scans of old photos taken at various air displays at my local Shoreham Airport. I don't remember posting them before. If you like them I have some more.
The Diamond Nine in their Tiger Moths. Very impressive formation flying by a team of veteran pilots. The team has since disbanded due to the age of some of the members. The sum of their ages came to something like 600 years.
They reluctantly decided to quit while they were at the top.
One of many excellent display teams that have appeared over the years. The Extra is barrel-rolling around the inverted Sukhoi. Unfortunately I forget the name of the team.
The amazing Dennis Kenyon in his Schweizer 30. Dennis sells & instructs on helos at Shoreham. His son was unfortunately killed in a helo accident a few years ago. When helicopters appear I usually head straight for the beer tent but this guy is definitely worth watching.
Hardly an aerobatic aircraft but after the Vulcan was retired from the display circuit this RAF C-130 became the star of the show for time.
