I've read "Red Pirate", "Blue Pirate", "Black Pirate", "Yellow Pirate" and "Green Pirate".

Great books, not to heavy on the plot......

Well, without going to the Moon it would have been very dificult to study the lunar surface. Robots could have done some of it...but to do it right you have to put a man on the ground.

Or, we could build domes. Domes would allow us to live on Mars while terraforming it. The terraforming process would actually be easier with people right there to make decisions.

Think of it this way:

We can try the "Green Earth" method. The only problem is that if it fails, we have no chance at another solution. Once we start down that road that resources for interplanetary travel will quickly disappear.

We can try exploration. If that fails we can try "Green Earth".

You know, I've read those books too. Long time ago though. Maybe 11 years now. So when I was five... Within four years I had read The Dam Busters, Reach for the Sky and Strike Hard, Strike Sure. Not to mention all of the Swallows and Amazons books. Find me a nine year old who can claim to have done that! Grin
