I know from experience that SIM is just that.

If you have some idea what you are doing it will enhance your enjoyment on the day but if you have only had FS since Xmas you may want to forget trying to learn too much too quickly. All the essential gauges are consistent overall,so it comes down to aircraft handling,conditions on the day and other real life variables.

If you fly in a real aircraft FIRST you may find FS easier to understand.
