Everyday I'm thankful for something and today after a hard day at work and what seemed like a day that would never end, the good Lord blessed me with this!!

I lied
One more thing too say.
Check out that U.F.O. in the second picture on the left, right above the smallest mountain!
What is that?

Those are awesome pics pal. That UFO is a shadow on the clouds. Although I have mixed feelings about the existance of UFO's I'd love to get one on film.

Lovely photos.
The UFO could be anything - a blemish on the image, a shadow, a bird or even an aircraft. I don't believe in little green men from Mars or anywhere else.
Looking at that beautiful scene you can understand why our ancestors worshipped the sun. They lived in the hopes that it would rise again the next morning. So do I come to that.

Yes I know,
But maybe I should send it to the news, then I could get my 15 min of fame!!
I didn't notice that dark spot until after I posted , so I went to the original and it was there.
I played around with it (zooming and adjusting) and it is still hard to tell what it is. i was thinking maybe a bird or something that flew in front while the shot was taken?
Oh well I'll let people use their imagination!!

My first guess would be a bird. I have often spotted them in my own photos which sometimes improves them. The problem with any UFO is that against the sky background there is nothing to relate it to. This makes it impossible to judge the size of it.

Nice shot! 8) But I don't think I can see the ufo. Is it that dark spot above the mountains right as the sky is turning from "orangish" to "redish"?

Very Nice Shots.
I would think that dark image in the second pic is an aircraft (heavy) moving away from the camera.
Cheers....Happy Landings....Doug

I've more or less ruled out a aircraft, just because I took about 15 pictures in a row of the same view (tripod) and this is the only one that has the dark spot.
That is why I'm leaning toward the "bird therory". a airplane would have been in at least a few other shots!!
And I also ruled out a shadow because in order for a shadow to exisit something must be between the sun and clouds and there is nothing there?
If not a bird maybe a hole in the clouds? which I would think would show up in at least a few other shots!
I know it's a Ghost DC3!! (using imagination!!)

By Gosh by the process of elimination it sounds as if you did your HOMEWORK.
