Having a couple days in Courtenay to spare, I hired a vietnam heli pilot to fly me up to the top of Comox Glacier.
Rifleman suggested that I check it out! It was beautiful!
Going to the top...The Town of Courtenay in the background...
We landed for a bit and just enjoyed the view...
Time to head back to base....
On the way back to base, the pilot let his vietnam days shine through...we were only a few feet of the surface of Comox Lake...
