I don't like the idea of a job when its ok to be shot at
I have issues with the idea of killing people
Well, first off, I've been shot at (tazer, so I can carry it, never want to do that again either). It's really not that bad, after you heal. Now, being serious. I don't want to kill anyone either, but being a Deputy Sheriff, thats a risk I must take. The saying - Kill or be killed - really is important. A lot of people say the same thing - They can't kill anyone, and yet, they end up getting tested, and they make the kill. Besides, if you do shoot somebody, you will be debreifed. Not to mention, you have to be trained, and fear of shooting someone is supposedly taken away after boot camp.
Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when I come for you?&&&&

I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
I understand that the shooting and being shot at is part of the military, I'd prefer to keep it at a minimum, thus Im looking into Coast Guard,
I noticed something interesting in their requirements for the program I want to enter, they want the school I graduate from to have at least 25% minority population, which I dont think my current school has ???, I'll just have to talk to the recruiter about that requirement..

It really depends where you are in the USCG/. If you are in Cape Cod, you probably won't have to deal with many guns, but massive waves. If you are in HITRON or near the Gulf of Mexico, plan on taking on some go-fasts.

Speaking from personal experience, the best way to not get shot at is to make DAMN certain she's not married first!
