I have Win98 and I use the latest version of IExplore(I believe it's 6.0 or smthng).  So people who use internet explorer know that when you want to download something, th IE asks if you want to save/open file, and in which folder and under what name do you want to save it.  I dont know why or how, but when i was downloading a file, IE asked this questions again, and i accidently marked off a box which said: "Don't as this question again." So now everytime I want to download a file, it is being downloaded automatically into the Temp folder, but it in not being saved, just opened.  I have tried every option in IE but with no luck.  What ever option i could find, i set to default.  But still no luck.  Can anyone please tell me how to resolve this problem??

thanks

Right-click and select "Save As".

That will always give you a choice about where to put it.
