I recently saw the movie
"Spirit of St.Louis" starring Jimmy Stewart (excellant movie by the way)
and noticed that when the Ryan NYP flew at night you can see the light flash spark effects from the open air uncovered engine. The Ford Tri-motor has the same effect. My question is,is it possible to have this effect in FS2004? and if so i hope this post will inspire someone into createing it.Just an observation i'd thought i would post.. 8)

Well, from what I can tell, it probably isn't possible to add this to the default NYP, unless you create a light file and add it to the aircraft.cfg, which is not something I know how to do.

But it would be possible to create it in Gmax or something like that by making the glow as a luminescent "prop" piece.  One that would only show when the engine is on and running.  Unfortunately, you would have to redo the entire aircraft as well. Roll Eyes
