I've lost a couple of dogs myself...Emily, my curent dog is growing old, and I don't think she will be with me much longer....

Thanks for all your kind word, sorry I took so long to respond, but I could not bring myself to to revisit this post until now. I know she was only a dog, but she was a friend. When she was a pup, she was sickly and I had to give her medicine every 3 hours, 24/7 for nearly 2 months. I guess, all that, may have deepened my bond with her. Thanks again.
