Hi RGB. I haven't tried downloading any files today. There is not normally a problem downloading from this site unless the odd link is dead. The server might be busy or the problem due to your own connection or ISP. If you give specific examples of pages & files names I can check them out for you.

Hi RGB - I have just checked things on the server in question & all is fine. It takes a little while to connect to the file using dial up but nothing unusual - maybe 20- 30 seconds during peak. Download speeds using 56k are around 6-8KPS on an ISP 3000 miles from the server. This particular file server is never loaded & runs at around 95% processor free & about 90% RAM free at peak times & is connected to a redundant 100MBPS cable.

To check out the network you can go to Start - Run & type 'tracert 63.217.28.218' & watch what happens.
The 'timed out's & '*'s are the bottleknecks on the route from you to our network.

Thanks for the feedback & please let us know if continued problems are experienced.
