Well, it all started on Dec 31, at about 4:30. . . I am sorry that half of them are during the night, but the traffic getting to the airport was tremendous Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I will always do it VOR to VOR, unless there is no VORs in the area, then it will be direct GPS. . . . I also fly real weather

Well, ok, the first leg, is from CYYB (north bay ontario) to KJFK, (Nwe York, New York)
This leg is 436.8 NM, and 3 hrs long.

...

There I am, sitting on the ramp, getting the engines warmed up, and all of the avionics turened on.
...

After waiting 5 minutes for some other traffic, it is finally my turn to take off  Cheesy
...

Just popped out of the stormy clouds into a beatuful sunset 8) 8)    What a outcome 8) 8)
...
Bird's eye of veiw just before he gets killed Wink  Grin Grin Grin
...
I am just passing over lake ontario right now, the clouds are braking up, but the wind grows stronger Embarrassed Embarrassed...
I am now getting to the other side of lake ontario, and take notice of the wind  (yes, that is 66 knots Undecided Cry Roll Eyes)
...
Welcome to the city that never sleeps: New York!!!   Lots of lights onthe horizon, and lots of air traffic  8)
...
I am lining up on Kennedy Runway 22L for the second time (the first time, turblance hit, and I aborted the landing and orbited the airport waiting in the lineup of all the planes for about 15 minutes)
...
Well, as you can see, another gust of wind hit, but no 1/4 as bad as the one before! Grin Wink Roll Eyes
...
TOUCHDOWN (no repairs needed Wink)
...
PERFECT LANDING!!! (consitering the winds Wink Grin)
...
Spent another 15-20 minutes taxing the mile to the parking spot Cheesy
...
FINALLY!!!! PARKED!!!! *sigh of relief*
...

Now, where is the nearest hotel Grin

Comments welcome, I hope you like them!

Pretty neat!
I'm planning a trip around the U.S. try to hit all major cities in each state. I think I might start out in Maine just because while flying westward I have a little more daylight, "chasing the sun!"  And FYI "The city that never sleeps is actually Las Vegas" but you are right though I don't think New York sleeps much either!! Good luck with the trip! I am on leg 3 of a trip in a Maverick personal jet, taking me from my home base of Shoreham in the UK, around Europe and all points east via North Africa, where I am at the moment.

Also, I'm doing a round-the-USA trip in Boeings, currently heading from San Juan PR to Rhode Island in the POSKY 757.

Er, and a round-Europe trip in Airbuses!

Happy new year, all!
