Okay, let me rephrase my earlier post and see if it clears things up any.

I'm in the market for a new vid card, and I'm not sure which one to get.

Due to the fact that I'm spending money on other things (school and real flying time), I don't want to spend more than $100-$150 on my card.  (I could probably justify a HAIR more, but that's about it.)

For that price range, and with my specs to the left, can someone suggest the best card to go with for FS9?

Great edit, Bob.&&&&&&Google it. &&&&www.google.com

NVidia cards seem to have less issues from what I have read.  ATI cards still do not seem to have lost the flicker problem.

I have just installed the GeForce FX 5600 256MB card which should be in your price range.  In 2k2 I have gone from approx 20FPS with sliders at 50% ish and no anti alias to approx 30FPS with sliders at 90% ish with Anti-Aliasing off.  The picture is substantially clearer and the motion smoother.  Other games are also better +++
