Question:
What do you plan to do to start celebrating?
Stay late 2 c the global fireworks on the news.
Get drunk all night.
Call in some female strippers.
I don't do anything but eat, sleep, and watch TV.
It's 2004 already??!!!
Go online and fly over New York [or other].
Party around at a club.
I have too much work and have no time at all.

I choose #1 because I love to see all the countries of the world celebrate with those spectacular fireworks. In 2000, Australia was recognized for its best fireworks display ever for the celebration.
Japan put up a good show too in 2000.
I would also go online and play IL-2 so that I could shoot down German planes as a celebration. LOL
I would also use my B-B rifle and shoot off some crows or pigeons that keep bothering me. LOL j/k

I will stay in, (as always), with a few cans of "something", (as always), cook myself a nice supper, (as always), poke my head out of the door to listen to the trains blowing their whistles, (as always), look at the clock which will remind me that another year has passed, and I am another year older. and hope that the world is a safer place than it was last year...(but that's not going to happen)....
...!
...so...
...nuffin' new there...

I could not really vote for any of the above.
I have this situation where I got a kid and much as I love her getting a sitter on New Years Eve is just not happening!!
My Mates are all going out, My family lives miles away and I don't drive, and My poor husband is working nights, so lets say maybe I get drunk all by myself or perhaps I just go to bed early. Lets face it just means we are all nearly a year older anyway.
Everyone else please enjoy whatever you have planned.

The one about eating sleeping and watching TV...No parties (or strippers for that matter
) out in the middle of no-where.

i will be doing absolutly nothing but sleeping. I see little point in celebrating the end of one terrible year, and the begining of a difficult year(plus new years holds some bad/good memories).
however locals will prob wake me up with their fireworks.

Sorry, no can do remember one small sleeping child. Norwich, England is the best I can offer, lots of sleeping space if that helps.

Well I'll leave from Gatlinburg (GKT) so that shaves a hour or two, but I still won't make it in time for midnight in Holland.
I quess I could leave now and call in sick tommorow!

Call me a old misery if you like. I was never into seeing in the New Year. The TV programmes are more boring than usual & I usually go to bed early for one night in the year.
Hmmm, wait a minute.
Jools Holland was on last year. That's much better than the usual crap.
If he's doing it again this year I might just stay up after all. 8)

I'm a big fan of Jools as well Doug. It's just all those strange "musicians" he gets on there, making all that strange "music"....
...!
LOL...!
...but he's so enthusiastic, and he does love his piano to bits...
...!
...so it's worth waiting up for...
...!
Cheers...

either
the last Cardiac Arrest of 2003 in Norfolk
