I've heard that the "Rings" movies were good , but I never really got into those stories. But maybe I should see what they are all about!
I just can't see spending the same price to see a movie in a theater when i can wait a month or so and buy the video and view it as many times I want.
But I also don't watch much tv anyway!! The only thing I watch are CSI, and 24 (I like short titles

)
My favorite movies are the older war movies, especially Midway (saw that in the theater, COOL!) Tora,Tora,Tora,
Flying Tigers etc.

I feel a bit sorry for you. You missed the best three movies of the past ten years. LOTR is a movie that begs to be viewed on the largest screen possible, simply for the vast scope of the drama and action.

I don't remember what they were calling it but today it would be known as "Surround Sound" . If I'm not mistaken Midway was the first movie to use the "surround type" technology.
