Yes - Abacus released it for purchase via their website about two months ago.

Finally!  At least someone did it.  I've been waiting for someone to figure that out and put it up.  Saddly, I'm not the payware type, but at least its out there.

Although from the perspective of the avid repainter, the "integrated editor" probably doesn't have ALL the tools my PSP 8.0 does.  So there are (probably) a few drawbacks to it, as well as a few ups.

The built in editor is only slightly better that MS Paint.  THe value lies in that if you choose an external editor - PSP 8, Photoshop, etc., the program "sends" the texture to the paint program, and when closing the texture, you can view your changes on the 3D rendered image of the model.

Your actual changes, though aren't "saved" until you save the project.

This was done so that editors such as Photoshop, PSP8  and others could be used.

I still prefer the initial release version, because I can use PSP7 and see my editing on the model as I do it.

I believe Abacus posted a limited trial version on their site. I downloaded it some time ago but haven't got round to trying it yet.

I saw that, but I didn't even give it a second thought after I read the part about not being able to save your stuff.  Although if you save it through PSP, it might be possible . . .

Hmmmm  . . .

Might give it another looksee . . .

I don't think you would be able to use it as such. This would defeat the purpose. It does at least give you the chance to "Try before you buy" & give you a good idea on how it works & what it's capable of. It's a shame that other software disributors don't follow this example.
