Heh, dont worry bout sounding stupid, im sure I sound like that half the time.
As for how to post them read the thread just above this one, good ol Rifleman has it all right there.

As for taking the screeshot from your sim to begin with, just hit the "Prt Scr" when you want to take one, then pause the game or have it paused when you take the shot, then use Alt+Tab to switch out to desktop then startup "paint" or some other similar program and when it opens, use Ctr+V to copy the shot to the paint program & save it however you like.
Then you can just minimize paint and go back to FS by maximizing it, and fly some more. Wink

And one more thing, you DONT want to save the JPG's in paint. They'll turn out at very low quality.

Also, instead of having to always go out of FS to see your pic, you could get GrabClipSave, which is what I use... It allows you to take screens and fly at the same time... You can get it right here at Simviation. And don't feel stupid. Everyone who's posted a screen here has had to look at something...

Here's a link to GCS... Smiley

What flyboy said. Before having GrabClipSave installed on my computer I hardly took any screens because I couldn't be arsed to alt+tab every time to paste the screen in Paint. Now with GCS all I have to do is hit PrintScreen anytime while flying and the shots will be saved to a default location and I can see them when I finish my flight. Now I have over 600 screenies after one month of installing GCS  Roll Eyes Grin
