Hi People

I just wondered how I could import 737's and airliners into Combat FS or if you know any sites that have them

Cheers

You can use most if not all FS98 airliners in CFS.
Have fun!

All except repaints of the defaults. Look for original designs.

Make sure each plane comes with its own sound files or that they are aliased to sounds from aircraft already loaded in your game.  Same goes for panels also.

Thanks Jim

I noticed that in the FS98 files the sound file is "sound.cfg" and the other aircraft come with their own sound wavs

Do any of you know of any sites that have FS98 that actually run in CFS because none of the ones on this site do for me

Forfun. Please read my Aliasing article. http://www.simviation.com/lair/aliasing1.htm

If you're certain you installed the aircraft correctly but they still don't display on the menu open those CFG files in Notepad to find out which aircraft they're aliased to. Realias the panel/sound if necessary. This is quite simple. It's possible you deleted the special folders most FS98 aircraft are aliased to. This is a common cause of this problem.

The aircraft posted on this site are no different to those on any other. Think about this for a moment. If you're having problems it's something to do with you or your CFS.
