Hello Again!

After enjoying a nice meal and couple "captains" last  night with the locals (made sure there was 8 hours before flying!), I decided to packup and keep moving on...

My destination for this leg was Whitehorse Yukon. Leaving Northwest Territories was bittersweet because I really enjoyed the area but I also was starting to miss home and wanted to push on.

Current location...
...

Details for this leg...
...

Warming up the engines in Norman Wells. It was a chilly -23 Celcius this morning but the forcast for Whitehorse was alot warmer so I definetly looking forward to getting there!
...

Lift off...had some gusty winds and snow to deal with but other then that it was a nice climb out...
...

Not far from Whitehorse I passed over the Yukon river...
...

Well here is a site and sound that I have not heard for a very very long time! A LIVE ATC person! It was nice to know that someone actually was organizing things for ya! I was so happy to hear another "LIVE" voice on the radio that I wanted to keep chatting with him... Grin
...

Got it lined up for final on 31L. There was a definate cross wind pushing me to the right...making things a little interesting...
...

Just before touchdown...nice lights to guide me in...a little off center and making some corrections...
...

Parked and secured! I had taxied right over to the mechanics shops as I had to get some routine maintenance done...
Only 4 or 5 more legs until I am home again!
...

Thanks for watching! comments/suggestions always welcome!

Still the best story running!

Sadly though I see that the 'circle' albeit not really round, is coming to a close. Perhaps once you reach home, and enjoy a couple weeks off, you will make for Antarctica Smiley

Great shots as always!!!!

My life is like the movie Office Space
