Dan, please GET A GRAPHIC CARD
To be honest, your card sucks so I will do you a favor:

I have a GeForce2 MX with TV Out 64 MB DDR (that I will sell to you for 12 bucks, yes 12 $ plus shipping). Believe me that for that amount of $$$ it will make some difference. I have a Ti4400 and I don’t need it anymore so buy it or I will sell it to my aunt (she doesn’t  know shi* about computers and I could sell it for 60$ or more)

I guarantee that it will work PERFECTLY or you will have your money back.

Second:

Get more RAM you will need at least 384MB of RAM to run ACOF.

Third:

The new drivers are for NEW cards so don’t waste your time trying them, try the older drivers for your old card.

Fourth:

You need a Pentium 4, don’t be cheap man. But if you don’t have the cash, stay with your P3 and follow my suggestions.

Hope it helps.

Dan, I have an older machine also. P3 550 with an Nvidia Vanta Lt 8meg video card. I see a lot of talk about updating drivers for everything. So I went and got that Win 98 driver you mention. If you looked at the list of cards that it works on and see your card I would most definately try it. My computer, with it's "older" video card loves it.
Running this Sim on these older machines is possible, we can't have all the bells and wistles, but it does work.
One thing about ram. You didn't say how much you have. I'm running 384megs, but started with 128. As I went up to 256 I saw a differance and with a bump to the 384 I again saw an improvement. Just make sure the ram matches as any differance in speed there will make it operate at the lowest speed.
Again try that driver, it won't hurt anything, and it's free.

128mb ram...
Christian:- an excellent offer, but unfortunatly there are 2 good reasons (doh) why I cant buy it from you. 1: Your in Peurto Rico, i'm in Wales and 2) i'm only 13 - my parents won't let me buy stuff from 'strangers' on the net....
Sorry (to me!) Dan G

Those new drivers rock! They doubled my frame rate (It's at 12fps now).
Thanks for all your help.

Dan,

You can get a 64MB MX2 for about £50.00 new these days.  This will increase your framerates a little more and also make the graphics much prettier.

At twelve you may have some available Christmas money to spend.  Get your dad to take you to PC world....(Sale - Boxingday LOL)
