well, what can i say? i had my fisrt gig today. the event? Catholic Central High School's Christmass Entertainment Assembley. the band: Blob(the name was drummer's idea) the axeman...... SimV's very own Space Ace!!!!
our first time in front of almost a thousand ppl, friends and foes, ex's and crushes
i did the solo intro's, we played the intro for Iron Man, i went the firt time (string bending) and riff all by me-self, then theband jumped in... we did the main riff 4 times, then theband went quiet and i bended my string again, as if we were going to start again....i did it twice then did the solo intro for Paranoid, the band jumped in on the third time i did the intro (listen to the original song, pretty much like that) amps crancked up all the way up, mine had full overdrive, kick arse drummer and bassist, great lead and Ace on ryth axe. Justin Digby (first line defenceman of the skool's football team) was our ozzy.
all in all we rocked, the crowd went wild!!!! i felt larger than life (i kinda still do)
i will try to get pictures of the show after the xmass brake, i will hunt the yearbook dude down for the pix....for now, i'll give u a few pix i took with the webcam
