Try sending Rifleman a personal message, he knows a lot of tricks when it comes to manipulating images and such.

What version of Photoshop? I use 5.0 and there is an awesome way of resizing and you don't lose very much quality....
(Dave aka Fly2e is very good on resizing pics too. Just look at his posts in the Raw Screenshots forum!)

Here is what I do....

1) Open your picture in Photoshop
2) Goto Image> Image Size
3) Change your size to whatever size you want
4) Then click on File> Save As and give your file a name
5) After you click 'Save' and window will come up that looks something like this....
...

6) Depending on the size of your picture you can adjust the image quality to keep the picture under 100K. Try leaving it at 10 and then save it and see what your file size it. If its too big then resave the file and try a smaller quality number until you get to just under 100k. (if your picture is really small then you can probably leave it on the highest quality setting)

Hope that helps!

There is help here, with pictures and explanations.....just scroll down to it.

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=screen;action=display;num=...

This was done initially to help Dave(Fly2e) when he started around here, and was a bit unsure how to do some of it. It has since, been adopted as a sort of tutorial on how to size images and files, using Photoshop 6-7 ...... 8)

There's a program called PIXresizer that works pretty well  Smiley

It's freeware... http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm

I have photoshop 7 & 8
All I want, is to have my sig a little taller. Such as riflemans, his is 100x150, and mine is 100x72.
I don't want it as tall as his, but more so. Thx

If you have Photoshop 8, you are doing something fine....I don't think its out yet....it may be JASC Paint Shop Pro 8 which you have ?

If you have a large size and res of the original file, send it to me in a private message and I can do it for you.....
