Okay...who spilled the beans..? 8)
I'm busy with one, but at the moment although it's advanced, the technical part of it is still way off...
If someone has info regarding the flapsettings and the way they operate I would be a happy camper...
BTW: any technical info is welcome...

Flaps are electric and have same settings (Up, Appr, and Down) as King Air. My dad works at Raytheon, which owns Beech. Actual settings are 0, 15, and 35 I think, but I'll find out for you asap. Good looking plane though, might I add!
Cant wait 'til it's done!

I kinda figured that out from the panelpictures I have, (could use more though) but am really interested to know how they actually slide down. I know they go aft and down, but how is still a mystery ...need that for proper animation off course...
BTW: if your dad can get his hands on more info, that would be great.. i.e., all instruments when delivered new were original Beechcraft instruments, I haven't managed to obtain a panelpicture with all those original beechcraft instruments. Am very interested how the beechcraft HSI and RMI look like...

I'll see what I can do. The flaps slide back a couple of inches then drop down from what I have seen in them. Here is a picture of the "old" panel.

Thanks for the reply Han!! i have searched overseas websites but had no luck there.cant be much help on createing aircraft, just starting to get the hang of useing the Abacus FSrepaint program to repaint aircraft.the program has a nice feature of useing MSpaint for resizeing an airline logo and pasteing it directly onto a aircraft texture file.I would be very interested in your finished plane when it is completed.good luck on it.

Hi Decoy,
All pictures are of a Kingair 90, not a 99, notice that a 99 is not called a Kingair. It's a deravitive from the Queenair and the Kingair, and a forerunner of the 1900 Airliner but was never called Kingair.
And even these panels are heavily modified...the 99 had non recessed instruments...
Here's a picture I have of it...as you can see, the HSI and RMI are recessed and are replaced some time in it's service life...
Here's a basic render of how I far I am with the panel...

Sorry...Didnt notice that. I searched for Beech 99 too! *slap jetphotos.net* My dad goes back to work Monday and said he would drop by the aircraft section if he gets the chance. So maybe you'll have a little more info soon!
