Hello Everybody

Are these cards compatible with DirectX 9?

ATI Radeon 9600 Pro EZ 256mb DDR AGPx8 128 bit TVout,DVI,VIVO & Twin-View DirectX® 8, Open GL

and...

GeForce FX5600 256MBDDR TV/DVI 8XAGP

I heard that there was a problem with the GeForce cards, but I'm not sure  ???

Regards,
Stratobat

Some are some aren't.  Have you looked at the R9600pro 128Mb version it has faster memory.

My experience with the 9600 pro says............

better try the 9800  Undecided.

9600 pro does not give me acceptable frame rates.

best,

Erm, my Geforce FX5600 is DX9 compliant as is the FX5200 (the cheap one!)

The Ait 9200's however are not DX9 cards, the 9600's are.

I've had no problems with my Geforce card, hardly the case with Ati cards from what I've read.
