I always loved Zappa, I saw him in concert in 1980 I believe, he was always one of my favorite guitarists and I really could relate to his odd sense of humor. One of my all time favorite musicians for sure.

Same here AWESOME composer!!
Really weird at times, funny!!
Joe's Garage is probably my favorite album (cd), another song I like is yellow snow.
You could give Zappa a soup can and half a pencil and he could create a song with it.
Dwezzil rocks too!! Awesome guitarist who is way underrated!!

But see Frank even had a sense of humor about his family!!

Frank?...yeh loved the guy, fantastic guitarist and composer. What I love about his music is there are more original musical ideas in one of his songs than a lot of musicians have in one album, indeed in a whole carrer in some cases.
Have you heard Franks version of Stairway to Heaven?

Oddly I saw Frank_Zappa in a fs2004 zone game a few days ago, tried to get in the game to talk with him but it wouldnt load.

Dinah-mo hum was always my favorite, but I liked most all of his stuff, especially the instrumentals with the long improvised guitar solos.
