begining of the end? No. Its still a long way off from being the begining of the end,
But it is the start of a new begining. As strange as it may sound:)

Unfortanately the war on terror will be a ongoing thing, there is still Osama and his buddies, and God only knows who else is out there that for one reason or another hates the idea of world peace.
But this is definately a step in the right direction!
The people of Iraq can now sleep a little better, and the people of the world can now also!!
As long as there are people who are all for peace on earth and good will towards man, there will still be evil trying to destroy what we belive in.

Guys, do you really think Sadam and Osama are the root of war and terrorism? I am sure you don't. War and terorism will exist for as long as human beings live on earth. It is in human nature to become a tyrant (not to anyone's nature fortunately) and also to create tyrants (again not in anyone's nature). On the other hand I don't think easy and quite days would come in the area even if Osama was captured as well. Osama's group seems much more organized so that even removing the head the body could still operate well. I don' t know but I have this feeling.

We can rely on the fact that, at least the majority, of these people (I use the term loosely) are cowards, and the threat of capture and retribution may deter some.
would you call someone a coward if he has to face an enemy, who is a thousand times bigger than himself and hides?
i'd not...
(i don't take position for those terorists ,but you just have to take their poit of view to understand them...)

Guys, let's not get to carried away with this. This topic alone is stretching the no politics rule and the only reason I haven't locked it is because other threads about this have been allowed. It is good to celebrate the event, but keep politics out of it and please don't start a flame war...
Peace!

I personally feel that if Saddam Hussein can evade capture for eight months while sitting under the second largest concentration of US troops in Iraq then the USA does not stand a chance of catching Osama bin Laden who has the whole middle east to hide in.
