Fooling around in a Thunderbolt
Ah, the Mighty Jug. My favourite US Warbird. I don't know what it is about the "Jug" but if you ever saw Paul Bonholm display this plane at Duxford, you'd know what I mean.
A nice juicy target! I'll come round again and beat it up a bit.
Well, I hit something, but I was aiming at that shead! Better have another go.
That's more like it!
I though this Sub Base would make a good target but my rockets just exploded and did no visible damage
On the way out, I saw these trucks, but after shooting off a few rounds, my ammo ran out. Shame.
Following the river. I tried to blow the rail bridge, but missed and then thought about doing a "Ozzy" and flying under it, but it looks a bit too low. Maybe another time.
Someone is not too happy about me being here!
My Thunderbolt is full of holes!! But at least it's still flying. Wounderful machine

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

So you couldn't blow a hole in the sub pen with your little 5" rockets? I'm not bloody suprised. Those things have walls twenty feet thick made of reinforced ferro cement! To knock a hole in one you want to use one of these....
Oh yeah, nice pics.

P.S. The Spit is good for a rookie, but the Jug is for aces!

that's what i hate about this plane...you need half your ammo just to shoot it down...if i just could have a 109K in CFS 3. nothing resists a 30mm cannon, not even an IL-2...
