The fact that he killed himself means he could not get into power, capturing him would have made no difference especially seen as it was a majority of Russians in the Berlin they would have killed him anyway.

Well, I think that it is a great thing because he's guilty of war crimes. But I also think that it will not change anything. Those terrorists have a too big organization. They will continue again and again.

We all gonna do party and they gonna come and shot another building. They are pretty crazy.

Now that Saddam is captured, any Saddam loyalists remaining in Bagdad will soon no longer have any reason to keep killing inocent people.

Many terrorists around world will obviously feel stressful once they see that Saddam Hussein is going to be prosecuted under the hands of his own people.

The majority of Iraqis [especially in Bahgdad] probably want him DEAD or probably want to torture him in the slowest painfull death possible. Hmmm, I wonder what would it be.

I was reading an article in MSNBC and it said that the economy of the US is soaring like h377. However, the economy in Iraq is pretty much screwed up due to rising oil prices and the FALLING value of the Iraqi currency.

It's going to take a lot of patience to fix their economy.

Look at us [the US]. When we were nothing but a young country of 13 states, nobody ever wanted to help us. We had to rebuild our economy and build up our infrastructure on our own. And it took us nearly 100 years just to be a middle-class country.

PS: Whew, it's a good thing I still don't see any flare ups.

they got him...good work, but who played the major part in this action?

why didn't he just grab his gun and *boom* ?
he had nothing left to lose...his sons -  dead ,the rest of the family - somewhere , he -alone , his enemy - too strong for him...
did he begin to feel that he has made big mistakes during his reign,or what?
i'd rather kill myself than sitting in prison for the rest of my life...

I believe it's still very much a 'no-no' in the Coran, to take one's own life. In fact it is in pretty much every faith (regarless of what suicide bombers will tell you).

But then.....................I can't imagine that hussein has much regard for any laws or such......... Grin Wink
