I thought he looked more like Fidel Castro.
Didn't Saddam say he would never be taken alive? He didn't even do the honorable thing.

Not an uncommon failing, Milosevic said exactly the same....

I personally think he looks like Jungly Barry a.k.a Lord Lucan.

Take a look at this.
This article talks about the rise and fall of Saddam.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3710125/
WHOA!! Talk about an mad-man.
This guy is loaded with evil thoughts.
I surprised that Saddam didn't kill himself with his own gun. He had one, but never used it. If he was dead, it wouldn't be much evidence that it's him and the world would have still been skeptical.
But now that he's alive and captured, the world now knows it's him and the Iraqi people are finally happy that they will convict the very person who tortured them for no reason.

i really dont think he should be tried anywhere but Iraq, iraqies are the ones to have suffered the most, and they should be the ones to prosecute.
As I said in another thread, I think they should hand him over as a Christmas gift to the Israelis.
After all, there is the matter of the Scuds that they have to return to him, personally, via his rear orifice.
Seriously though, I think the Israelis showed amazing restraint in '91, by not reacting to the attacks on their land and their people. They could have upset the entire 'coalition' arrangement by simply reacting the way any country has the right to when openly attacked like that, but they kept their counsel and just weathered the storm for the good of the region (and maybe the world).
I believe the Iraqi people deserve a measure of justice also, but let's not get too silly about it, after all, they allowed him to gain the power that he did. I believe that they all pretty much followed him blindly until things started to hit the fan (personal assessment only).
I think they deserve to at least, 'have a little talk' with him about his 'wayward missiles'. The Mossadhave some relly nice 'ladies' that could make him feel right at home!!

I believe they have already done a DNA test to make sure. So they obviously had some DNA material to use if he turned up dead.
The thing that really annoys me, and you watch and see, it will happen. Even though he is now destitute, and any money or assets he may still have would have to be considered to be 'ill gotten booty'. He will still be given the benefit of the very best and most expensive legal teams, Barristers etc, to defend him against all the charges, while your average Joe cannot afford 'justice' because all he can afford is either a 'shonky' bottom end ambulance chaser, or maybe qualify for 'free appointed legal defence'.
How does it work that these 'major criminals' get the very best, no matter what they have done!! or how much they don't have. Who pays?? (as if I need to ask?)

I'm surprised that with all the money he had he couldn't have made a better attempt at escaping, I mean c'mon, a hole in the ground exactly where everyone expected him to be, he could have bought an island somewhere and disappeared where no one would have ever thought to look for him, but then again I guess he has already proved himself to not being the smartest fellow in the world.
&&Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...&&
