I'll be keeping an eye open for this one. G-FURY was the first Sea Fury I remeber seeing at an airshow and it will be joining my virtual Sea Fury collection.

Thanks Tempest  Wink

I only saw this one once, although I saw his Spitfire and Hunter quite a few times. All were very nice  Grin

Amazing! As you can guess I am a serious fan of the Sea Fury, so can't wait to add this to my collection!

Cheers!

That looks exceptional Paul, its not often that pre-release shots get me drooling, but I'm going to have to mop my keyboard Grin

That red-blue edge on the letters is somethin the JPEG protocol doesn't like

And another one to add

A small question:
Are you going to release a fix so the exhaust effects work on the ones released before those were included?

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Hi Ivan

Thanks, I wondered why there was a problem with the jpeg.  Wink

Re the exhaust effects, nothing planned. The ones that we included weren't perfect, so we have been holding back until we can get them 'just right'.

It is pretty easy to add the effects to the other ones though. Just compare the two panel configs and copy across the extra lines. Then do the same from the 'lights' section of the aircraft config.

Hi

I just had a small 'hiccup' with the smoke in final testing, so I wont be uploading today.

Our current thought is to now include two smoke files. I hope to upload tomorrow.

Paul - fantastic aircraft!
One of our mods alerted me to this post this morning & co-incidentally I had been flying this G-Fury this morning - & what a fantastic aircraft all round! Surprised just how quickly it can takeoff & stop! Is this realistic? Maybe so for carrier operations...  ???
A pure pleasure to fly! One of the funnest aircraft I have tried in some time!

Thanks Pete  Wink  Thanks Tempest   Wink

Really great to hear that you like it  Grin  Grin  Grin

Dave and I have been a bit suprised at how well this one seems to have been received.

Re the flight dynamics Pete, as you know they are by Jerry Beckwith - a founding member of the 1% club. From what I have seen from him, he knows more about simulator flight dynamics than I will ever learn  Roll Eyes

I am not too suprised by the short take off, given the powerful engine. The official pilot's notes state for warming up the engine and take off..."hold the control column well back to prevent any tendency for the aircraft to nose over"......."full throttle should always be used at take off, even though the aircraft may become airborne before the full throttle position has been reached" ................

I guess that's why its such an exciting aircraft Grin

Cheers Paul
