Well after having about 10 people helping me search for a new computer one of them came across one.  It was being sold for parts.  Also it was the same model as my old one.  I got the motherboard for $25.  So over the past 3 days I managed to wake my old one from the dead.  All I needed was a new motherboard sence I harvested all of the parts before the old motherboard "went to pieces Roll Eyes"  So now Its running slightly better than It was before.

To celebrate I took out my 777 and flew from Honolulu to Anchorage.

Getting pushback from the gate for 12 PM departure.  A small thunderstorm brews overhead.
...
The gear just retracting as I roar out of Honolulu.
...
Over the the clouds and turning for Anchorage.
...
Flying over the airport before I land.
...
Shot from the tower miliseconds before touchdown.  A strong headwind keeping me on my toes.
...
Ladies and gentalmen welcome to Anchorage.  Once again we want to thank you for flying Landmark Airlines.  Please watch your step as you exit the aircraft for it is a weeeeeeeeee bit of a step down.
...

I couldnt help but put everything at its highest setting for this last one.

Welcome back Triple! Good to see you're in the air again.
Hope it wasn't too much of a pain to be without FS.
Any withdrawel symptoms?

Welcome home!

That last shot there... I think the airplane might be a little to big for the terminal building! The passengers are going to have to climb down a ladder first to get to the jetway.

Silent... Be polite, constructive criticism is ok... just to fore-warn you.  Out of the 3 1/2 years I have been around SimV... I have see people banned for bashing.  Just letting you know in advance.

Whether we or anyone else see's them as beautiful, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Don't let it bother you Triple_7 they are great pics.

ah BE nothing bothers me.
I know they are not that great.  the only one i realy liked was the 2nd to the last.  As it was said it is the thought that counts.  Sence i just got my computer working I have yet to download any aircraft.  But im seeing what I can do about that.  I do have a CD that i made.  It contains some of my favorites as well as my Concorde.  But sence my computer is still running a bit slow I cannot download any high detail planes like the meljet 777.  But I hope to have a better computer sometime in February.  As for now I had to go with what i could afford.

Anyways I got booted from Northwest VA for not completing any of my training within 30 days.  but figures that as soon as i signed up my computer quit.  Oh well i feel better flying when i want and not have to be on a set coarse.

As for where to next.  Im thinking about going to New York and then next weekend taking my Concorde on to Paris.  It may be retired in real life but not for me Grin

and for the gates i have no idea.  I think they are set for 747.  I went to Airliners.net to see what i could find about 777s in anchorage and there is only one pic.  and it was of a Continental 777 that was diverted there.

also i have had to use FS2000 aircraft in the past.  Its about the only way i can fly an acual airline without my frames droping to 2-3 fps.  Cry
