Greetings all

I run a VA with FS 2002/FS 2004 compatible aircraft and I repaint all our aircraft, EXCEPT... I have a pilot that only has FS 2000 and there are several planes he needs that I cannot repaint.

The problem is this:
I use Corel Photo House to paint, when I use the R8 coverter to Bitmap the colors are NOT the same when I atempt to save back to R8.

Do we have anyone here that can paint our scheme on FS 2000 aircraft (the old af aaf extensions)?  We are desperate to get these 5 planes up for him.

Please contact CW Loew at cwloew@charter.net.

In advance, Thank you

If they're *.*.af textures, repaint them as bitmaps, then just make sure your repainted bitmaps are renamed to the original *.*af name.

Example

myplane.0af is the original R8 format.

Convert it to a bitmap, and say you rename it to myplane1af.bmp

Once you've repainted it, do a save as myplane.1af, basically saving over the original texture.

For FS2000, the NAME of the bitmap is more important that the FORMAT.

Of course, that means you can't use that model in FS98..Smiley
