Just a little caveat......

I am running an ATI 9600 pro agp card.  Unfortunately, I am not all that happy with the performance.  Graphics quality is quite good.  Framerates and "stuttering" is NOT good at all.

It appears to me that the 9800 XT is the only card that really has a chance of giving superior performance with ACOF.  And still a LOT has to do with the avaiable RAM processor speed, and FSB speed.

Where it doesn't really matter...... framerates with my 9600 are quite good (cruising at altitude far from the crowd).  Where it matters,......... not so good (TO+L at major international airports).

best,

Yes, the Radeon 9800XT gives you bang for the bucks.
The only thing limiting my FPS is my processor, XP2100+.
FPS with no AA or AF was the same as with full AA and  AF at max. The card does wonders, only thing to do now is to upgrade my CPU
