Welcome Back!
Well, yesterday I really wanted to feel some sunlight on my face, so I kept going on my adventure and headed down to Norman Wells, North West Territories.

As I left Nunavut, I felt mixed emotions...some sad that I would be leaving this beautiful and massive province...but on the other hand extreme relief in knowing that I had successfuly got through such a dangerous area in complete darkness!

But remembering that the "show must go on" I headed out to the Baron and fueled her up and got ready to head out...

As I was doing my pre-flight check, the snow starting falling and the wind was blowing! It was a bomby -32 Celcius...

As I lifted off, the local Dog Sled team was there to wave good-bye... Embarrassed

I tipped my wings as a final good-bye...

As I was climbing to cruising altitude, I knew that the sun had to be up. I timed the flight today so that I would be cruising at the suns peak high...As I broke through the clouds a very long-awaited friend was there to greet me with a big bright smile! Grin

As I got to my final cruising altitude of 10,000 ft, the sun was high and bright! Down below I notice the airstrip for Kugluktuk...can you imagine trying to call into the ATC with that name!?... Grin

It is very nice to see the the light of day! The refueling square is always illuminated at night....

Thanks Sock! The narrating comes easy when you get into the story as much as I have....

What! I turn my back for 2 weeks and you keep me busy for 3 whole adventures? And as opposed to all other soaps, there's things to be missed in this one.

Nice to see you back in daylight Cherokee, must be a good feeling to know that from now on your temperatures will rise above zero. Love the shots with the sun and moon.
