I'm a little surprised that Hagar or Professor B. hasn't jumped on this one yet!
I know you're talking about the Wright Brothers flight at Kitty Hawk.....technically it would be more like the 100th anniversary of the first controlled, powered flight. They were flying hot-air balloons about 2 centuries earlier (Montgolfier), and gliders in the mid/late 19th century (Lillienthall, etc., I think). That was aviation also!

Im going to climb into my grumman Cheetah and recreate the Wright's flight in distance by taking off and waiting a second or two and ploping back down onto the runway. woo hoo! im a dare devil!
Then im going to play pool and drink cold beer with all my pilot buddies and watch all the corniest aviation movies i can find.
